A Hong Kong financial institution commissioned HKSSC to design and execute a highly realistic secret penetration test to assess the responsiveness of its partner security company. In this exercise, our security experts, without the security company’s knowledge, simulated a potential threat by launching a tactical breach of its cash withdrawal process. The results showed that the team successfully breached the first two physical and procedural defenses, accurately identifying multiple security vulnerabilities overlooked in daily operations. We subsequently submitted a detailed analysis report, not only listing the causes of the weaknesses but also proposing specific reinforcement solutions, allowing the client to understand the true protection level of their security system.
